April 21 - NAMI Rochester
KB interviewed Steve Dvorin, Board President for the local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) about the organization and their function helping those in our community with mental disorders. From Alzheimer's to depression, PTSD, OCD and suicide, one in four adults will experience a mental health disorder of some kind this year. The NAMI Walk is May 4th at 10am, and will promote better services, better research and better awareness of this very common challenge. Anyone interested in walking should contact Lindsay Chambers at 423-1593, visit namiwalks.org/rochester, or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
