Chuck McCoy

Chuck has worked around the Rochester radio dial for some years now. Legends listeners may remember him best for his many years doing evenings at WKLX(later WBBF-FM). Prior to moving to Rochester in the mid 90s, Chuck previously worked in radio in Buffalo and southwestern Connecticut. His resume includes stops at WKBW, WBEN, WGR, WECK and WHAM. Chuck also used to do in-store radio voiceovers and was at one time one of the voices of Eckerd Drug Store Radio. After a 7 year sabbatical from radio, Chuck was thrilled to join the Legends staff and get back to playing the greatest music every made.

During his non radio years, Chuck dabbled in stand up comedy and hosted a weekly comedy show at a local coffee house. In addition to his work at Legends, Chuck and his wife Cheryl operate a small landscape company, Parkside Gardeners. They live in Rochester, along with their 3 cats. In their spare time, they enjoy the great outdoors, including constant summer trips to Durand Eastman Beach. They are proud to call themselves Seabreeze season ticket holders. Chuck is a devoted roller coaster enthusiast: "My greatest accomplishment in life has been being able to go down all the hills on the Jack Rabbit with my hands in the air."
