GRASP 2-21-21

GRASP Vice President Denyse Clark talks about how committed the group is to continue to reduce the number of homeless pets in mainly the westside of Monroe County by decreasing dog and cat reproduction, promoting responsible pet ownership, and placing homeless dogs and cats into compatible, loving, permanent homes. GRASP mission is to see a day when every dog and cat will live in a loving, safe, healthy home environment and will be cared for responsibly and humanely.

The pandemic caused some hardship but they were still able to find homes for pets, in a safe manner. GRASP has a team of veterinarians who provide services free of charge by volunteers continue to pay for supplies and that can prove to be costly. Fundraising events went virtual and will be virtual for at least the first part of this year. For more info go to
