Chuck Kelley interviewed Amanda Ashley Rodriguez, the Program Director of Girls Rock Rochester.
-Girls Rock Rochester is a local non-profit that is a youth empowerment program offering music education, teaching youth to create, write and perform music.
-The organization provides a supportive and safe community of peers and mentors.
-Amanda talked about their summer camp, they have 3 different camps for various age groups
-She also explained how they fundraise in various ways to be able to provide the programs on a sliding scale as far as cost so that all youth of all income levels can participate.
-They are also looking for paid staff and volunteers for the summer camp programs.
