Combat Comedians' Comics Against Cancer
Join us for the first annual Combat Comedians’ Comics Against Cancer, benefitting Cancer Support Community at Gilda’s Club! It’ll be an evening of side-splitting stand up for a great cause.
All the comics are military veterans and they use humor to help with healing! Laughter is the best medicine, after all! Proceeds of the event will benefit the social and emotional support programs at Cancer Support Community at Gilda’s Club.
The comics are all part of Combat Comedians, a program through V.P.A.C. that teaches creative writing, and trains Veterans to perform in live comedy shows (if so desired) to help them overcome their PTSD while giving them the tools and opportunity to earn money. Comedians will include:
- Dan Liberto (US Army Member of Combat Comedians)
- Ralph Tetta (Senior Combat Comedians Instructor)
- Dan Viola (Combat Comedians Instructor)
- Featuring: Lonny the Likeable Lush
- Host: Mike Buckpitt (US Army)
