Courtney Klee, Energy Program Administrator for Pathstone sits down with Marti Casper to talk about the housing help available to low to middle income families in 7 states (mainly the farming states) and Puerto Rico. It was started locally by Stuart Mitchell in 1969 to help farmers get access to housing assistance and energy programs. Courtney serves 9 counties in Western New York. She helps manage NYSERDA grants and is the outreach coordinator for the CEEP grant. Many families are eligible for grant money and low interest loans to update their homes with furnaces, hot water heaters, roofing, insulation and the like, through these grants. The website for these programs is pathstoneenergyinfo.org.
