American Heart Association Heart Walk 3-10-19

University of Rochester Assistant Stroke Center Neurology Coordinator Christine Boerman and Dawn Martin, and NP at the Stroke Center are helping organize the annual Heart Walk on April 6th. It’ll start and end at Blue Cross Arena. The money raised goes directly to the stroke center for patient care as they continue to offer outreach programs and heart health/stroke prevention programs. The unit averages over 200 patients. When it opened 20 years ago, there were only 10 patients in that unit. Now patients get completely specialized care in the unit.
