Ed Smith interviewed Chuck Krause, former Rotarian and organizer of this year’s 10th Annual Car, Truck and Cycle show to support Camp Haccamo.
-Chuck talked about how he got involved with Camp Haccamo years ago, he had a child with special needs and they attend a summer camp there.
-He talked about how local Rotary Clubs work together to raise money to support Camp Haccamo.
-This summer camp gives parents and caretakers of children with special needs a week of respite and the children an opportunity to connect with other children, exercise and learn new skills.
-Chuck said they provide this opportunity at no cost to parents.
-They have various fundraising efforts throughout the year, including the 10th Annual Car, Truck and Cycle show.
-Chuck talked about how people can get involved and support the event this year and what people attending can expect.
