Do The Right Thing 10-6-19

Do The Right Thing was started in the Rochester Police Department in the past 10 years to recognize kids doing good in our community. It’s open to students in Monroe County and recently expanded to outlying areas. Each fall and spring nomination and recognition ceremonies are held and according to RPD Program Coordinator Laura Kingsley and Director Coordinator Sgt. Jose Varga. Anyone can nominate a student–they all receive prizes, provided by local businesses like Seabreeze, GCVM and Wegmans, to name a few.
