Marti Casper speaks with Jen Venutti, founder of Thrive To Survive, a cancer support group for people and families suffering through a cancer diagnosis in the outlying areas of Ontario and Monroe Counties. Also now serving Wayne, Seneca and Yates Counties. Jen started the group after her 10 year old son was diagnosed with brain cancer 10 years ago–he’s fine now but she said it was difficult to find any groups in the Geneva area so she started the group. There are now more volunteers and services than ever. The 4th annual Thrive To Survive Middle Finger 5K was schedule for Saturday May 2nd but due to Coronavirus it will be rescheduled for either summer or fall. Check www.thrivetosurvive.org.
