Meg’s Gift 7/24/22

Ed Smith spoke with Kathy Gabach from Meg’s Gift.  Kathy spoke about how her daughter, Meg, was suffering from depression and died in 2014.  After that tragedy she formed Meg’s Gift.  The mission of Meg’s gift is to promote awareness about mental health and support local organizations that provide assistance to people with mental health needs.  Kathy spoke about the importance of reaching out to friends and family members with mental illness to show them you care and that they have resources available to help them.  Their annual golf tournament on August 13th will raise funds for Villa of Hope in Rochester.
