Center for Youth 9/11/22

Ed Smith spoke with Elaine Spaull, the Executive Director of Center for Youth.  She updated the listeners on their summer programs including tutoring, education and recreational activities for youth.  She said that due to the Covid-19 pandemic and economic reasons they are now the only homeless shelter for youth 12-18 years old in Rochester.  She spoke about the need to help children suffering with mental issues due to the isolation that was created by the pandemic.  Elaine talked about Fashion Week, their annual fundraising event in October.
