We’re right in the middle of our Halloween Theme Week! Today we’re talking about one of the many symbols of Halloween – black cats! While black cats have been seen as bad omens for centuries, in some cultures they’re actually good luck. In Scottish lore, for example, if a black cat comes by your new home, it’s a sign of prosperity. Black cats were also seen as good luck on ships in the British Navy. Learn more here.
