Ed Smith spoke with Jim Love, Chief Executive Officer, and Angela Gonnella, Director of Clinical Support Services for Cancer Support Community Rochester. Jim explained what the organization does, including providing educational, social and support programs at no cost to people of all ages impacted by cancer. They spoke about the various activities they offer from yoga classes to cooking classes and guitar lessons. Angela addressed the importance of the support groups and the positive impact they have. They outlined a new support program they now have for military veterans, the only program of its kind outside of New York City. All services are offered a not cost. They invited listeners to support CSCR through their next fundraising event, a bachelor auction.
