Ed Smith spoke with Mary Jo Colligan, the President and Founder of Angels of Mercy in Rochester.
-This is a Christ-centered 501c3 that is dedicated to helping women in need locally, across the nation and world.
-They assist women that are abused, dealing with domestic-violence, sex trafficking and drug issues.
-The goal is to help girls and women achieve freedom, dignity and move forward in life.
-They have healing and support groups like Monarcha
-They run the butterfly boutique with help from volunteers which provides women with clothing and hygiene products.
-Angels of Mercy is celebrating 15 years of serving Rochester this year and is hosting a special fundraising event to celebrate, connect with the community and fundraise to be able to provide their services for free.
