Ed Smith spoke with Conor McKenna and Tim Ambrosetti, Cancer Support Community Associate Board Members and Bachelor Auction Chairs.
-They explained what the Bachelor Auction is and how the event works.
-They both explained how they were recruited in the past to be a bachelor in the auction and how that experience led to them joining the Associate Board and continuing to volunteer for Cancer Support Community.
-They mentioned some of the various community partners that have stepped up to support the event.
-Conor and Tim explained a few ways that the public can get involved with the event by attending, bidding on an auction item or making a donation ahead of time.
-This is one of CSC Rochester’s annual events to raise money so they can offer social and emotional support programs to people with cancer.
-Conor and Tim talked about the positive atmosphere at Cancer Support Community and how it can really help people and their families dealing with cancer.
-They gave a preview of some of their other events coming up this year.
