They band is sometimes referred to as “The Bad Boys from Boston” and “America’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band”. They’re the best selling American hard rock band of all time, selling more than 150 million records worldwide. With 25 gold, 18 platinum, and 12 multi-platinum albums, they also hold the record for the most total certifications by an American group. By the end of the 70s, Aerosmith was one of the most popular hard rock bands in the world, but it wasn’t until their comeback in the late-80s and 90s that they started winning awards and getting major recognition, including 4 Grammy Awards.
