Mark Shuttleworth spoke with Dr. Danielle Marino, Associate professor with the University of Rochester Medical Center Gastroenterology and Board of Directors for Strollin’ for the Colon and Tina Catone, a nurse in the Gastroenterology unit at the University of Rochester Medical Center and the Director of the event, Strollin’ for the Colon. Strollin’ for the Colon is a 5k Run/Walk to promote awareness, education, and research for colorectal cancer. The event is September 11th at Mendon Ponds Park in Henrietta. They spoke about the warning signs of the colon cancer and the importance of early screenings.
