American Red Cross 5/1/22

Ed Smith spoke with Jim Love, Executive Director of the American Red Cross in the Greater Rochester Area.  Jim spoke about their Sound the Alarm program.  The program is designed to raise awareness about the importance of having working smoke detectors in your home.  The program runs all year but they will be doing a major push on May 21st to install smoke detectors in 150 homes locally.  The emergency plan is designed to assist families during a potential fire and ensure that everyone gets out safely.
