Child Care Council 12/25/22

Ed Smith spoke with Jeff Peer, Director of the Child Care Council in Rochester.  Jeff explained that the Child Care Council provides information, training and resources to child care providers and parents in Monroe, Livingston, and Wayne Counties.  He spoke about the push from New York State to help providers with mental health and special need training and how the Child Care Council is assisting in making that happen.  Peer spoke about the support they provide if someone is looking to start a child care program.  He highlighted some providers that offer 24 hour daycare programs and overnight programs for parents who do shift work.
